Introductions
Two people here who would help each other: EmmauOS suggests the introduction, says why in words, and tracks whether it was made.

How a suggestion appears
EmmauOS looks across everyone who shared their result with the pastoral team and suggests introducing 2 people, for a reason a pastor could say out loud:
- A group to belong to: someone who leads a group, beside someone in no group who shares a lead gift or the people they want to serve.
- A way onto a team: someone on a team that asks for a gift they lead with, beside someone who leads with it too and is on no team yet.
- Room to grow: someone who has seen a gift of the Spirit regularly, beside someone hungry for it who has seen it once or twice at most.
- Same people on their hearts: 2 people who want to serve the same people, whose lead gifts cover each other's quieter ones.
- Further along in the same gift: someone already serving, beside someone with the same lead gift who isn't serving yet.
- Starting out together: 2 people not serving yet who lead with the same gift and want the same people or team.
- A circle: a handful who share a rare lead gift, or a language, gathered once.
The reason is written in words on each suggestion. Nobody is offered as the experienced one more than twice, or put in more than three one-to-one suggestions at once. 2 people in the same household are never paired, and nobody who may be under 18, or whose age is unknown at a church that works with young people, is put in a one-to-one pair or a circle. When Planning Center is connected, a pair close in age or at the same stage of life is listed first; that is never shown.
What you do with it
- Introduced. You sent the email, made the call, or said hello on Sunday. The introduction is marked and dated, with who did it.
- Not now. Set it aside. It stays under Not now until you put it back on the list.
- Open the person, read their page, and decide.
A suggestion clears itself when life already made it: once the two serve on the same team (in Planning Center, or because you placed one of them there) or are in the same group, a suggestion about a team, a group, a shared gift or starting out together leaves the list. One you already marked keeps its tab, and suggestions about growing in a gift of the Spirit or serving the same people stay, because those are yours to judge.
Nothing on this page contacts anyone. Marking an introduction is a note for your team that it happened, so two leaders don't both reach out.
Who sees what
Everyone on the team can see the list; leaders and above can mark a suggestion. Nobody who didn't share their result with the pastoral team is ever suggested.
